Smallpox podcast

In the podcast it discussed how smallpox has been used more that once in the past for bioterrorism and now it poses a great threat again. Smallpox was absolutely terrible before a vaccine was made, and even if it came back now we would be in grave danger. It makes me nervous to hear people discuss diseases like smallpox as a terrorist's weapon; it is something that has been around for so long and it would take one person to introduce it to the world again to kill many. I resent that we can overcome such diseases like smallpox and then have it possibly held against us as a weapon of mass destruction. We already saw anthrax make a quick appearance from terrorists and I don't think bioterrorism is something we can ever take lightly. The U.S. has known enemies now and we cannot for one minute forget that.
